It is important to know that distances in Andorra from the capital to the ski resorts are short. Maybe 20 minutes by car. Whatever you decide to stay, you won’t be far from Andorra La Vella and from its main shopping center: Escaldes – Engordany.
What most people do is to book the hotel at Encamp, Canillo, or La Massana, allowing you to access the ski slopes without taking your car and visit Andorra la Vella, in 10-15 minutes by car.

La Massana hotels ski Andorra:
Nice area, relaxed where locals. The Hotel Rutllan is located in that area and The gondola is just in front of the hotel. It will leave you in 8 minutes on the slopes. Remember in there’s child care service in the slopes.The Magic Hotel is in the area too, perhaps a bit cheaper, but not better than the Rutllan. The dining options at the hotel is very good, now also has a spa and aesthetically is very cool, the main hall is amazing, all in wood and large enough. Good option if you want to enjoy your ski holidays in Andorra with your family.
Holtel Magic Ski Andorra: 4 stars hotel located in La Massana. Very popular, though it gets a 3.5 mark on Tripadvisor. Which mens it is correct but not the best.
Canillo, hotels in Andorra ski resorts
Hotel Vall Ski Andorra: Located in Canillo, 1km from GrandValira, 1.5 km from Soldeu. It is a popular three star hotel in the area.
Hotel Euro Ski Andorra Located in Canillo too, between Soldeu and El Tarter. The gondolas are 15 minutes walk. The hotel offers a shuttle servie to drive you to the gondolas.
Pas de la Casa area: You’ll mainly see low budget young people and tourists. Nice place if you’re looking for ski and nightlife.
Soldeu: it is a very good option for enjoying your family ski holidays in Andorra. Good facilies and hotels next to the ski resorts. Not as many tourists as in Pas de la Casa. Relaxed atmosphere.
Arinsal: nice are for young tourist people. Good nightlife and good vibes.
